As an Engineering Manager at SIMCEL, you will be a key leader between our CTO and Lead Developers. Job responsibilities
- Lead the re-architecture of our solutions to improve system stability, performance, and quality.
- Contribute to key features of the codebase, perform code reviews, and create architectural plans.
- Hire and scale the engineering team in response to business growth and technical requirements.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth.
Job requirements
Tech Stack
- Angular, NodeJS (NestJs), Typescript, Golang, Python, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Bitbucket Pipelines.
Expectations
- Expertise in software architecture and full-stack development.
- Successful track record in overseeing complex software projects.
- Ability to lead significant technical changes and team growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality codebases.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 8+ years in full-stack development, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Preferred: Experience in a scale up (users >100K MAU or revenue > 5M$ MRR)
- Experience in software architecture.
- Strong foundation in automated testing and continuous integration.
- Proven experience with Angular or Node/NestJs in typescript
- Proficient in some of our other (not all) technologies: Golang, Python, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS.
